From spending Just 24 hours in their luxurious resort I can recommend this local to any tourist or family seeking an adventure on the beautiful Island of Jamaica.The resort Features a beautiful pool as the centerpiece of the grounds; equipped with an adult and a kiddies pool, with a over arching bridge that doubles as a walk way. A Jacuzzi and a GYM for the more health conscious traveler.
The food is also great featuring local cuisines such as the famous Jamaican : "Jerk Chicken", a must try for the first time visitor and for the pallet that longs for home, various dishes from far and wide, to meet the tastes and needs or the picky or health conscious diner.
There is also a lounging area where guest can just hang out while they get a tan, just don't forget the sunscreen as the Jamaican weather while beautiful does get quite hot. Close to the lounging area there is a easy access bar where visitors can be served several Jamaican mixes such as the famous "Bob Marley drink" which is not for the faint of heart. The bar hosts something for every one from the avid drinker to the seasoned bar hop.
The reception was great and welcoming from checking in at the lobby, to checking out at the end of my stay. The facilities also seems to have been renovated recently as all rooms feature automated magnetized key cards for the room doors and a digital safe for the storage of ones valuables all rolled into one handy key card. My only issue with this is that they were easily demagnetized once they were placed beside other swipe cards or a cellular device.

The resort also features a natural estuary that is teaming with sea life and offers a great chance for those who have never gown scuba diving, or wind surfing which is a fun and relaxing venture while being guided by the hotel staff.

Should you happen to be in Jamaica at the Holiday Inn wind surfing is a fun filled activity that is recommended and encouraged as its quite the ride.

The rooms of the Holiday Inn hotel feature a retro yet modern sleek desk as the walls are made of beautifully cut stone. This look makes for a durable and unique look that left a lasting effect on me as I marveled at the architectural design that was place into its construction. What the rooms lack on the exterior they more than make-up for on internal decor, as the bathrooms are well kept and in pristine condition.
The grounds of the compound are well manicured and feature local flora which is native to the Jamaican tropical climate. There is always lots to see and experience if you were to decide to go exploring the compound.

Entertainment
The resorts activities include pool, table tennis and a after dark club that plays music from all genres and regions of the globe, just to name a few. Jamaicans know how to party and there is never a dull moment when local culture meets international customs. The atmosphere of the resort is one of fun and relaxation.
