Directions from the Airport to The Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort.
My first experience at the Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort Montego Bay Jamaica was quite the experience, you may look at that article here entitled:" Holiday Inn Montego-Bay Jamaica:Sea,sand and surf..."Which was my first attempt at writing a blog article and was my first adventure into the murky depths at the time, know as blogging. Since then I have done a few more article and its been a month and a few days since said article was written.Seeing I was visiting the resort for the second time I thought I would expand my views of the resort and do a followup article and see if once the bliss had worn off ,if my views of the resort would change or if lightning would proverbially strike twice in the same place, so here is the resulting article.
Again I must say the most outstanding thing about this resort is the beauty and tranquility of the grounds, you will feel next to nature as the Caribbean breeze caresses the entirety of your body while the warm Jamaican tropical climate welcomes you in invitingly. This can be best observed during the early hours of the morning at its peak,as most guest are still in bed and for early risers who usually hit the beach at the first sign of dawn, they can enjoy an unrivaled piece of mind.

The resort enclosed beach provides the perfect enclosure for swimming, that accommodates both kids and adults. The water in this area is just deep enough to provide a great swimming experience, so non-swimmers who may be a little "water shy" need not worry about the dept as it quite inviting to swimmers and non-swimmers alike. Its also a great area to for snorkeling as the water is teaming with sea life. The made made island just off the beach shore is also a great area to get away for a sunbath or just to relax.

The Seaside Gazebo next to the: "Seabreeze seafood restaurant" on the compound is a beautiful vantage point to see the Jamaican sunset or sunrise, as you enjoy your stay at the resort.

Jamaicans know how to entertain and there is hardly a shortage of local talent going around as each day guests are entertained by local talents from across the island who showcase there varied talents,these performance for the better part are highly entertaining and a delight to watch.

Among the other things Jamaicans know how to do right is food, but sad to say that the Holiday Inn drops the ball in the food department in my opinion, as while meals are OK and edible for the most part.The dishes presented especially for Jamaican authentic foods does not capture the tastes and true feel of the island. For a authentic meal I recommended that visitors venture outside the resort in the surrounding town. Several great places for food can be found in and around the island (See Google Maps), one such place is: Little Ochi seafood restaurant you can read about this place here. The little Ochi Seafood restaurant is on the other-side of the island, so only serious explorers who know the island and are comfortable with traveling or those who would like to increase there knowledge of the entire island should attempt this trip.

Conclusion
Despite the one drawback above with the truly authentic Jamaican tasting food which was based on my extensive personal experience with Jamaican cuisine, the holiday inn is still a great getaway for the entire family and has some of the best views and scenery you will find anywhere in Jamaica or the world. My initial views still stands as of this resort, as its best to venture into the town of Montego Bay for a superior dining experience and to make the most of your trip, where you can experience the culture at its best. The Resorts entertainment are quite fun but for visitors staying an extended period be sure to seek entertainment outside the compound by going on excursions, as being limited to the compound for more than a few days is not recommended especially where there is a beautiful island to explore.
